George Smith found Choco Coco in 1989 with a little passion and dream. He began working at Choco Coco at his own kitchen. With the help of all his friends and family, he created a mini chocolate store from home. Using his grandma’s special homemade chocolate recipe, he begun producing, packaging and selling chocolates.
In a matter of 2 years, George was getting calls from many people he didn’t know about placing an order for the chocolates. Sooner or later, he was getting orders from big catering companies demanding for his chocolates. Choco Coco grew massively in a matter of 2 years. George couldn’t work from his own kitchen anymore but however didn’t have enough money to start up Choco Coco at a local store.
Then in late 1991, George stopped Choco Coco for 6 months to take a baking course. Through this course, he learnt about the expertise of producing chocolates on a large-scale process and how to perfect them to attract consumers.
Using all the proficiency knowledge that he learnt, he started to work on Choco Coco more and more; working on expanding his business. Ideally he wanted to expand Choco Coco and produce different franchises for the business. In 1992, George bought over a local store and began Choco Coco there.
Since then, Choco Coco has been very successful and has branched off to different franchise nationally. Choco Coco is still continuously growing; providing products and delivery services to consumers
